Keep in mind that the power is going to be limited going through the lighter socket, so you have to use the supplied clips to connect directly to the battery terminals if you need full power. This inverter has a fan that kicks in only when the load requires the extra cooling, so don't expect to see it come on while testing it unloaded.

My brother and I each picked one up today at their Sunnyvale, CA store. Apparently they're selling them really fast, they started with a full rack with two dozen or so units, and they only had 5 when we got there. Now, I just need to find a use for this.

Picked one up at the Santa Clara, CA store. There were around 6 left an hour ago. Thanks for the post.
They also has 6 ft USB 2.0 cables for 0.99 and a 6 ft firewire cable for 4.08. For the photography minded, there were 4"x6' Epson photo paper for 6.99 for 2 packs with 20 ea per pack. Not a hot deal, but decent.

honda accessory outlets are rated at 10A @ 12V = 120W
I was running a 14.1 in LCD, a SV-24 barebones PC w/DVD, and speakers no problem. I think the inverter was only puling ~7A from the 12V battery (84W)

looks like this is dead now ($34.99 listed on the website), and i missed it. I knew I should have jumped on it, I really want one now. Anyone know of another deal on an inverter that is still current?

I bought this at Microcenter last month for 15.74. Last week I was in Fry's Fremont and I saw this same Jazz 300 2 outlet inverter for 49.99. I don't think it was this same model/brand for 18.00. But if it is this same 300W model than it is a pretty hot deal. Did you see this price in an ad because I must have missed it. Previously, I bought a 140 W inverter from Fry's, for 19.99, which was a brand called Wagan, (cheapo).

Go to

samsclub and search for inverter. It will pull up a bunch. I ordered a 2200 watt (4500 surge) for $199 ( on sale 2 weeks or so ago ) for my truck. a 750 watt (1500 surge) is only $65, a great deal, concidering a good 300 watt goes for $75-80

Cheap bastard forum, yes. But I assumed everyone would be on the lookout for the best value for a dollar, not just cheap 🙂
