Didn't see this posted, but seem like a decent deal:

300GB HD your choice of:

Seagate 300gb/8MB Buffer/PATA/$99
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications...00A&CMP=EMC-TIGEREMAIL&SRCCODE=WEM1049

Maxtor 300GB/16MB uffer/SATA/36M Warranty/60M Warranty/@99
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications...0M2&CMP=EMC-TIGEREMAIL&SRCCODE=WEM1049

I like seagate a lot...but have a SATA available, and the Maxtor comes with a 60M Warranty.....any feedback on the Maxtor drives....$00.33/GB not bad at all!

Sorry folks...this is AR

$99 after MIR + shipping. And it's Tiger direct!

I'd honestly rarther spend $20 more and get a 320GB at Newegg.

I did not know Maxtor made a 320gb SATA, is that a new model ?

The Maxline III is a very good drive, good deal for $100 plus S/H AR

$40 and $50 Rebate...
I rather spend $15 dollar more @ Newegg, and not down $40 to $50 if rebate not received..

OP lnked to a SATA II drive - add indicates SATA 150 - OEM - features (bottom) reports SATA II (150 MB/s).

Here TD shows the "same drive (SATA, not SATA II) for $109.99 - no rebates involved.
