I have cheap speakers now, so going to the X-530 is actually an upgrade. I guess I'll never know "true" sound.

What about that cheap water cooler, would you reccomend the TT one?

I sure would hope it would "pwn" my rig. You spent 3x more than I did. I could make a rig 99% as fast as the one you are making, for half the price. So maybe I won in the long run?

From the parts list itself I give it a . All of these have merits beyond scrutiny.

Creative X-Fi Platinum
I personally would have bought an Audigy 2 and waited for something on the PCI-express horizon. But I have a real 7.1 receiver and am looking forward to this

My old 200GB Hard Drivesx2 in RAID0
For this kind of cash I'd sell those and upgrade to a RAID5 of 3 or 4 WD4000YRs on a PCI-express SATA HBA

TT Kandalf case
As always this is whatever suits the particular users fancy.

Now, I will probably get flamed for spending so much money on a computer and contiune the tradition of the OP getting fvck'd. I don't really mind, I have a really fast computer on the way.
The math doesn't come out right to me, but whatever. I'd spend the rest on a Dell 2405 or the almighty Spectre Naga 37"
