Here I have a pick of my cpu priming (into about an hour) with 3 different apps reading the cpu temp.....
Which one do you think is right???
2600mhz - 3 temp readings
This is at load.....
At idle the 2 programs hold about the same 3-4c lower then corecenter but when I go into bios and let it hold steady for a few minutes it actually seems the lowest I get is 37c. Yet corecenter will report about 35-36c within 10 minutes into windows at idle. Speedfan and sandra will post about 32c...
mysteriously the system temp is same all around including bios....
Overall have to be happy with an all aluminum stock opteron cooler.....I think my modest venus 12+ cooler may be overkill....
