,.. uncanny,..

Just in case you didn't notice, I was engaging you. I'm always willing to discuss an opinion or belief, but when the discussion turns into name calling or other foolishness there is no point in continuing.

You've announced that you're no longer interested in discussion, you're simply going to make pronouncements and judgments chastising those that disagree with you. I have no real issue with that, but it's an extremely immature position to take, and the result is that when you present yourself as a child, you'll be treated as a child.

Greenman: Just in case you didn't notice, I was engaging you. I'm always willing to discuss an opinion or belief, but when the discussion turns into name calling or other foolishness there is no point in continuing.

M: What you don't notice is that while you think you intend to engage folk in discussion, you actually can't deliver. You have a CBD. You unconsciously rationalize away any discussion that leads you to have unpleasant feelings. This is what the science tells us about your condition.

In short, you can't properly and objectively introspect. You do not know what you feel and so you do not know when you are avoiding feeling something. Any insight you may acquire about the nature of the mind, you see only externally. You project your condition onto others and see them as having your defects.

G: You've announced that you're no longer interested in discussion, you're simply going to make pronouncements and judgments chastising those that disagree with you. I have no real issue with that, but it's an extremely immature position to take, and the result is that when you present yourself as a child, you'll be treated as a child.

M: Of course. You create what you fear. You have caused him to react in the typical way people react to fools who refuse to see anything. Thus you complete the magical requirements used to maintain your delusional state. The world works just as you predict it will. The walls of the paper bag you live in and can't punch your way out of look exactly as if they weren't there. You can't connect to your negative feelings.

Don't forget, however, that your CBD is what allowed you to survive childhood. It's only a defect now that you no longer need it. What you don't want to remember is psychic death, but if you feel it you will be reborn in a pre CBD state.

Tax cuts dont "pay for themselves" but giving every single person free money out of thin air (the ULTIMATE tax cut, ie a universal *negative* tax rate that's not even tied to any sort of labor or productivity) magically pays for itself!

100 years of clueless lefty "logic".

Quote somebody on that, OK?

And what does it have to do with the topic at hand, other than providing an avenue for duh-version & denial?

He wants to be taken seriously yet quotes an op-ed piece from Vanity Fair.

Believe me, we know holding conversations and using reason is not your cup of tea.

So, uhh, Repubs were right about all those points mentioned in the OP? Really?

Does it matter who points that out? Are facts only facts when they come from Fox News?

Can you work any harder to exhibit the exact behavior that the author mentions?

Again with the Fox news...... You tire me comrade. You do realize I have had basic cable for almost a year now and have been on their website all of probably twice in the last year.

I thought we were done with cooties? And why are you answering for steamer? Did you log in to the wrong account?

To answer you briefly, I am in no way responsible for steamers behavior. Blaming my pretend condition as the catalyst for his immaturity is ludicrous. Honestly Moonie, it's like you don't even try anymore. You were far more creative with the self hate dogma. You need to tune up your act.

Ya know, if you could ever for one second step away form the belief in that second sentence, you actually would be able to engage folks in discussion. But just remember while you are typing out your usual retaliatory response of my self-hate or whatever the vast majority of the people on the forum just shake their heads in disbelief every time they read one of your posts.

so, this thread is about "I hate Conservatives and everyone must agree with me or I will stamp my feet and pout like a sissy boy"?

Have I got this right?

This thread seems more like a troll thread than anything else.

Greenman: I thought we were done with cooties? And why are you answering for steamer? Did you log in to the wrong account?

M: How can I ever be done with cooties so long as you feel you have them, don't know you feel you have them, and as a result, project that feeling out there, that others are trying to make you feel you have cooties. And I only have one account. I was pointing out that while you think you notice some things, you miss what is real.

G: To answer you briefly, I am in no way responsible for steamers behavior. Blaming my pretend condition as the catalyst for his immaturity is ludicrous. Honestly Moonie, it's like you don't even try anymore. You were far more creative with the self hate dogma. You need to tune up your act.

M: You can never be responsible for Steamer's behavior any more than I can be responsible for yours or visa versa. That is not the issue. Your condition is pretend only to you because you don't know you're projecting. This matter of your projecting and not knowing what you feel is all the result of self hate.

As I said, you don't have cooties, you have a condition of denial that was necessary for your survival as a child but is not serving to protect you from knowing what you would be better off if you knew. I offer you the truth that I see. I know better than you do, just how much pain one goes through to know what I say is true. What I do is correct the facts when you try to deny them. The rest is up to you.

My aim is to tell you the truth. Have you not heard me say, we do not know what we feel, don't want to know what we feel, and don't want to know we don't want to know. I have known that for much longer than I have been posting here. Very few people know anything because very few want to. This is why, if you were into such things to any degree, you would know that the those with wisdom will often refer to themselves as fools. This is because real wisdom always sounds like foolishness to those who don't have it. You won't fine anybody who has any real wisdom who is interested in how many people agree with him or her. Those are the petty concerns of the real fools, the conformists who live in a false reality where group think is critical to the maintenance of their mass psychosis. I offer you facts to consider so you don't have to continue to be that way. The rest is up to you.

Try to imagine for a moment that I don't need anything. I don't need your approval, I don't care if you disapprove. I give you the best I can do for free. I am on your side, but I know what your side is better than you do. I know it and you don't and that's ok. I don't want any credit, any praise, any thanks, anything. I see you as a wild animal in a trap. I want to set you free but I know the minute I reach for the jaws of your trap you will bite me. You see me as you see the trap. It has to be that way. We learned as children not to believe in love because we never saw the real thing.

It is of course all ardent rubbish, spewed with great confidence, but liberals have just as much shit spewed from their facial fecal orifices. The essential problem, and why these myths don't die, is because a grossly uneducated and profoundly ignorant public doesn't know any better and starts repeating the mantra of lies as if they are truth. Every single survey I've seen that actually grades Americans on objective knowledge (not opinion, thus we can accurately analyze the results) indicates they are exceptionally uninformed on even popular issues. We must not be surprised that these ignorants' politicians trick them with the same playbook year after year.

And yet again with avoiding the point in the OP. I can't see that you addressed it anywhere in this thread. You've attacked the source, and other posters, but never the subject at hand. In the face of results to the contrary, Righties will go to any length to hold to their ideology of truthiness.

I'll take false equivalency for $1000, Alex.

Well, unless you'd care to tick off a list of mythologically based Liberal policy failures to match that in the OP.

Interesting article - here is a list of what they address;
  • Tax cuts pay for themselves
  • Deregulating the Thrift Industry Will Save It
  • Iraq I: The Tilt
  • Giving Iranian Moderates Weapons Will Help America
  • Raising Taxes Will Cause a Recession
  • Abolishing Some Bank Regulations Will Help the Economy
  • The U.S.–led Bombing of Yugoslavia Would Be a Disaster
  • Bin Laden Was a Front for Iraq
  • Iraq 2: W.M.D.s and a Short, Inexpensive War
  • Obamacare

,... wait,.. that last part is all too familiar,...

:hmm:

So the author sites no sources but everything he says is accepted as fact? Then you glom onto a line that he sticks in to sum up how his assertions are correct and anyone that disputes it must have CBD...in essence.

Repubs didn't make those assertions & policy decisions? Really?

And our usual Righties haven't exhibited exactly the behavior described?

Does sunrise need sources to be real?

You accuse me of getting biased info from Fox, which I don't even have BTW, then insist I address issues from a biased source on the other side? I have better things to do with my time.

In that, you've done exactly what the author claims is a major flaw of Conservative behavior-

Basically, whenever someone says they’re wrong, conservatives too often fall back on claims that those who disagree with them are biased and thus worthy of being ignored, a convenient position that allows them to avoid debating uncomfortable criticisms.

It's quite remarkable that you're so blind to your own actions. It's the essence of ideological followership, essentially religion.

I think history proved those things to be fact. Or are you debating that those items aren't true? Better yet, let's try this, what on the list don't you agree with?

Righties will go to any length to hold to their ideology of truthiness.

Essentialy they are supporting slavery as a mean of enrichment, they are generaly too stupid to realize that no man has the power to create 500 000$ worth of goods/year and that all things are produced by a socialized system.

All the rest is rethoric to explain to others that slavery is freedom...

...so they guy who invented the infant ventilator, Forrest Bird, subsequently dropping breathing related infant mortality from 70% to 10%, whose ventilators are still used to save lives the world over...

You don't think he created $500,000 worth of goods per year?

What you quoted is exactly what you do on a daily basis. I wouldn't expect you to see it or agree with it, but it describes you to a T.
