just went to the one in LA today... walked in while they were opening up new Xboxes. grabed one for myself... pretty cool
heard they might get gamecube shipents by end of week

That's assuming they sell at MSRP, which is 300 bucks. It might be a package though :-\
 
Anybody have a Ebates username and email address for me to be "referred by friend"? Don't know if that's clear, but someone can make $5 it says. First one gets it. They ask for the email address of friend, I was wrong the first time around, my bad. So email addresses welcome for free money.

Last time I was there there were only a few PS2's left and that was a Monday, They are probably gone but here's the number if you want to try 909/481-8585 Good luck!
 
Denver, CO store has PS2's and one X-Box left, that they are selling in a bundle (2 games of your choice, extra controller, and memory card) for $469.

Total comes out to about $350 for the X-Box bundle (including tax on that). Thanks AT. 😀
 
Stopped by the Hollywood (Sunset) store at 10:30 AM today and they had 30 PS2 systems and apparently still no limit on how many can be purchased. Go get 'em!

I wasn't looking for PS2s, I was looking for GameCube games. They still have no Nintendo accessories, Waverace or Super Monkey Ball. Just Madden, Tarzan, NHL Hitz, FIFA, THPS3, Rogue Leader and now SSX Tricky. There are some DVD bargains there. I got the Criterion DVD of Hitchcock's Notorious (on sale for $33 before Blue discount, $23 after) and will probably be getting the complete Fawlty Towers DVD set ($32.50 after 30% off), maybe on the 26th.

garr! I can't believe some of you are leaving the store with consoles there! Why not max out your card and resell them? You could make a killing on reselling them!

I'm going to the Columbus OH store Sunday...any really hot deals? I know they have some new CDs for 11.99 before the 30% off...only DVD "deal" I saw was Tomb Raider for 22.99.

 
Well, I didn't max anything out, but I did grab a couple extra to resell.

Yeah, I'm a capitalist pig, but I'll either have a free system for myself, or I'll get $$$ for everyone else's Xmas presents.

The real question I have is, should I sell now, or wait a couple weeks till the prime of the Xmas Xbox panic? 😀

Im not sure where you got this info from but its a no-go. They arent expecting a shipment for a while. I did score a GameBoy Advance for $70 and got the coupon book but no X-Boxes. Plus they only sell it in bundles (which still isnt bad but still...)

burbank had ps2 on fri (11/30), but all were gone on that night too.
my friend bought one that night, she saw many people were buying too, some bought 3-4.
 
Just called the store in Orange, CA, all PS2, XBox and GameCube are sold out.

No luck for Burbank, CA store neither.

I was just curious if anyone knows if this deal is available in Canada? It says US Virgin Megastores in the promotion, but since I live in Washington state, the closest store to me would be the one in Vancouver, BC (the second closest would be 20 hours away in Cali). Anyways, I'll probably end up giving them a call to see if the offer is good up there too or not, but I figured I'd find out if anyone has tried already or had any luck getting in on this deal in any of their Canadian stores.

WHen i called the Los Angeles store on Sunset, they said you make the bundle yourself. So you get to pick the games you want.
 
Went to both stores in New York. None, Nadda!

ALL SOLD OUT. Wasted my day. They also aren't expecting anymore gamecube, xbox or playstation2 until after christmas. I am sure they are not rushing to restock. One of the employees there told me that they purposely didn't order anymore consoles for shipment before christmas because they were losing money on them. Everything else is overpriced. Can you believe that most of their animation dvds like trigun, ghost in the shell etc etc. are $29.99 (still a rip off with the 30% off)

Oh well, at least some people scored.
