30 Gig Quantum 7200rpm Hard Drive for around 95 dollars

The product normally sells for $137.95 and there is a rebate of 30 dollars from Quantum which would bring it down to $107.95 but if you add something to it to make it 150 dollars you could use the $30 dollar off of $150 and come out in the $90 dollar price range. I am new to this so please bear with me because I have been having troubles finding these coupons but I know they are out there the ones for buy.com I am speaking of.

I got one of these drives about 3 months ago. Sent off for the rebate just as soon as I got the drive and I still haven't received a rebate yet, so just be forewarned you will not receive your rebate any time soon.

Also, the Quantum drives are probably the loudest out of the major manufacturers. My whole case vibrates with this drive in it. It didn't at first but it does now.

Quantum is the slowest there are when it comes to rebates, they still owe me from 3 months ago, I called, they have me on their list, they just haven't got to me yet.

The drive is actually cheaper, 30 gigs, 128.95
If you go page 5 of the rebate section at buy.com then you will find a whole list of as quantums that they have, from 10 to 60 gigs.

I have this drive.... not vibrations...... Make sure you have the screws tight... REbate slow..... 3 months and going..... did get an email...... it's coming in 2-4 weeks.... we shall see..... atleast they contact you though.

Sent in the rebate for this drive on Dec. 27th and received it today. 5 weeks is pretty good. The drive is definately louder that my Maxtor tho.
