30 Fuji CDRs @ OM, $2 after MIR. Starts Feb. 2

Starting this Sunday, Feb. 2, Office Max has a 30 pack of Fuji CDRs for $8 with a $6 MIR. That's $2 for 30 TY's. I suspect the rebate info will not be on OM's site until this deal starts. So please wait until Sunday ~ 11:00 am to look for the MIR. I did this about 2 months ago, I believe the rebate was to OM in Miami.

Also starting on Sunday, Staples will have a 50 pack of Sony CDRs for $14-$11 MIR=$3. Does anyone know who manufacturers Sony CDRs?
 
I did a 30PK rebate just like this... it came in 1 month! Nice service by fuji. If this one is mfg. too then I'm on it!
 
Just at the OM B&M, it's a www.myrewards.info rebate, not an OM!!!

I just noticed on the rebate form it says, "Limit 4 rebates on this offer per name, addy, group, etc..." Wow, I'll have to go back later this week and pick up some more.

this confirmed? definatly a good deal for 30 cd-r's, not to mention the spiffy colors 😛 ... would be even better if i could get 120 for 8 bucks 😀
 
Rebates not printing out were I'm at, ringing up at $1.99
no lines, no waiting, no mailing, just a smokin deal.
picked up 2, sent daughter for 2 more. 😉
 
i think sony has been using ritek lately... the forums over cdrlabs probably know for sure
have some 16x that were/are ty though
 
sony used to use TY.

now their stuff is made in taiwan. I remember reading that they were CMC.
so the price you're paying is for the Sony brand name.
 
Picked mine up today. Limit 1 per customer, so I'll go back during the week. They gave me a b&w booklet of rebates and the fuji one is in there.

According to the Fuji site,

Rebate Info
Limit 5 rebates on most offers per name, address, group or organization.
That's on MOST, I don't feel that this offer qualifies for 5, since the rebate form says 4.

BUT

Q: How many rebates can I send in one envelope?
A: You can mail up to two rebate requests in the same envelope as long as they are for the same product (for example if both requests for rebates are for a CD-R 50 pack spindle). You must include a separate confirmation print out and Proof of Purchase for each item you purchased. Please make sure that the quantity you purchased is specified on your receipt.

If you have rebates for different products, they must be mailed separately. Please be sure to indicate the appropriate department on the outside of the envelope.

My local OfficeMax only had the Fuji 40X CDRs. They rang up with the same $5 Instant Rebate. I picked up two of them in hope that they will accept the rebate for these. Can someone with the 48X ones confirm that the barcode SKU is the same: 074101740301 Thanks!!!

The ones I got in Southern Calif were the same.

The SKU is the same and the Fuji rebate is good no matter what the speed. I bought 2 spindles, one was labeled 48X the other was labeled 40X but was actually a 40X sticker over 32X packaging.
