don't let the events stop you . . . the weather is near-perfect for poolside (low90sF) and as i noted the white party 'impact' is much less than i expected on the rest of PS (other than more traffic and people); the partiers seem to be content to stay within the hotels that host the party . . .

on the other hand . . . i would NOT be liking the drive home to LA if you get stuck in traffic by leaving too late.

I'd rather have 30,000 gay people coming to my town for the weekend than hordes of black college kids. Happens down the Jersey shore. all these black "college" kids swarm the shore towns, and it's generally a free for all with all kinds of mayhem. At least they gay people are spending money.

And PS used to be notorious for near-riotlike Spring-Break College revelery in the 80s . . . they kicked 'em out and much perfer the gays.

Why would I say that? College spring break is nothing compared to "black spring break" in daytona. I've been there for both and if I was a store owner or a motel I would close.
