It's from mythology. Humans were able to steal fire from the Gods and so the Gods decided to get even. They locked all of the evils (deception, envy, etc.) inside a box and gave it to man. It said not to open it but, Pandora was to curious to heed the warning. She opened the box and let evil into the world.

The Bush is behind and there's 30 minutes on the clock. It's a bit early to be celebrating a Bush win.

Bush will be lucky to hire White House janitors, let alone get Senate approval of a Supreme IF he is elected. I'd say the level of rancor in Congress is higher than Grand Coolee Dam in the rainy season. Those who love gridlock will be very happy.
