I want to build a computer capable of handling 3 monitors. Can I use dual head and an extra card? 3 cards, 2pci and 1agp? This will be under Windows2k. Is any of this possible? LMK.

Not sure about Win2k, but I got 3 cards working on my laptop running Win98 awhile ago.

Builtin AGP 8mb card, 2 pci (matroxG200 and some Diamond 4mb card) in the docking station.

Only problem I had was sometimes it would lose the virtual desktop setup....kinda annoying, but fine long as I didn't shut down.

I think multi-monitor is supported in Win2k...not sure though.

EDIT: Oh yeah...some video cards don't work well with others....it's kinda a gamble.

Win2K does have multiple monitor support, but some motherboards don't support dual vid cards, let alone 3. Do lots of research on hardware compatibility.

Matrox does make a Quad head video card...

Does anyone know specifics on what MOBOs? I don't want to have to face a bunch of returns here. LMK what you hear. =)
