That's 26.6 to 19.4 F for you Fucking Farenheit Freaks 😛

Just back from a quick walk, it's really cold out there for Vancouver. Nighttime temps these past few days have been around the -7 deg C range. That's unusually cold for Vancouver even in the winter. Got some snow on the ground and more on the way too which is nice as we don't get much most years either. Vancouver = the Hawaii/California of Canada :awe:

Yeah, my face was in pain on the walk to work this morning. Apparently 5-10 CM of the powdery stuff night! :awe:

i actually like the F scale more for some reason. probably because i was raised on it, growing up watching Detroit news

They're interchangeable for me. I have no preference. I was raised using the F scale at home but taught C at school, so for the most part I can use both systems without a 2nd thought.

The only time I can only use one is when doing renos. If it is in metric it might as well be greek.

Looking forward to it. Wasn't it last year that we had that epic snowfall (at least for us anyway)? The years blend together do it's hard to remember. Just once I'd like to be really snowed in like they get in the prairies and out in the maritimes. Would be wonderful to have drifts two stories or so high just once in my life.

I believe that was the year prior. I recall whining a lot last Winter about not having any snow. :hmm:

It was 2 years ago, yeah that was the most snow I've ever seen here in 22 years.

i over heard someone say that Calgary was the second coldest city in the world yesterday. Somewhere in Siberia topped us.

Oh, I thought this was in Fahrenheit.

20 degree F is not cold.

It was 30 where I'm at and I didn't even wear a coat, just a hooded sweatshirt.

It has been relatively warm this past while here in Montreal, although at this very moment it's about -3 C.

Apparently not true, but it was the coldest city in North America. Even the Territories were warmer. Glad I don't live there. ^_^

It will be -17C / 1.4F here later this week. But the cold isn't so bad. The snow is worse because it causes so many problems. My morning train was delayed by 1.5 hours...

I wish it were colder here. It hit 83 yesterday. A "cold" front is due tomorrow which will drop temps to highs in the low 70s.

Burrrrr ...

It's snowing again here! Buy it has warmed up, will probably turn to rain later. 🙁
