3 sticks of pc133 Ram on CUSL2 and overclockability?

If i remember correctly, if you run more than 2 sticks of ram on a cusl2, due to chipset limitations or something, u can only run the memory at 100 fsb or something, as the CUSL2 only officially supports 2 PC133 DIMM's. However, under the Anandtech review of this board in July, they said the CUSL2 had no problem running 3 DIMM's in PC133 mode. I am thinking of getting 2 more additional sticks of 128mb ram if they can run in pc133 mode fine but if it can only run 2 sticks smoothly, I will just get one more stick. Thus, plz report about your overclockability with 2 and 3 sticks of ram on your cusl2, thx :)

PS I'm gonna get either 2 or 3 sticks of Mosel Vitelic 128mb ram and want to run them at CAS 222 143fsb 7t/9t. You guys think its possible? I am running one stick just fine at this setting. Thx

should say on the stick: rev 1.5 is "only" promised at cas2 up to 133mhz (but heard reports of it going as high as 144mhz @ cas2), and rev 2.0 will definitely do cas2 at 150mhz.

but, for $90 from mwave, i am getting kingmax tinyBGA 128meg pc150 sticks that do CAS2 at 143mhz no problems... very happy with that ram, been building all my machines around it, and had 3 x 128 sticks of it running at cas2 @ 143mhz.

subhuman, i heard that the tinymax pc150 did not work well with the Asus CUSL2, as its picky about the motherboard chipset. Anyone running this ram at cas 222 143 FSB?

i am!

$90 kingmax tinyBGA on ASUS CUSL2 @ 143mhz, 2,2,2.

This is the machine I just built for a friend, ran it for a 72 hours in Q3Demo loop without lockups.

I'm able to run (2) 128MB sticks of Crucial CAS 2(-7E)at 150 FSB on CUSL2 using 2-2-2 settings. I also ran for a little while at 155 FSB for a short while and did not have any problems.

3 sticks of PC133 SDRAM is fine on the CUSL2. If you do find that you have stability problems with 3 sticks, go into the Advanced BIOS options and set SDRAM Data Driving Mode to Strong.

In most cases, this setting eliminates stability problems. Make sure that you have the latest BIOS though.
