Hello all:

Wondered if anyone has tried more than two raptors in a RAID array. If so, any performance increase over that of two? I have been hearing competing view over the performance benefits of 2 raptors. Though I have only read one article that installed up to six and the performance continued to climb although much more slowly when it hit 4 drives (this article is here).

And does anyone happen to know if the onboard RAID controller of a motherboard like the A8N-SLI is on par w/add-in cards?
