3 quick questions....

squibbles

Junior Member
1) what is an acceptable/normal temperature for a p4 2.4B not overclocked?
2) what kind of system temperature is good?
3) when formatting a hard drive for XP, should I use FAT32 or NTFS?

Thanks all!

1.Anything less than 55-60°C
2.Less than 50-55°C
3.NTFS will give you more options (security, compression), but is incompatible with DOS / Win9x. I'd use NTFS unless I had to have FAT.

If your HD is big enough, split up into a few partitions, and make all but one NTFS, and just have the FAT32 for your personal backup, so you can access it from dos.
