3 or 4 monitors in a multimonitor setup with 2 pci-e video cards

Does anyone know if you have 2 pci-e video card and are not running them in SLI mode, can you run 3 or even 4 monitors in multimonitor mode?

More specifically 2 7800GT's running two 2001FP's and a 2407FPW.
 
well, you can run 3 or 4 monitors, and while I am not 100% sure, I am almost certain that the nVidia drivers would allow such a thing to be done.
