3 NERO Questions-- anyone help?

i am so used to Roxio-- but my new cd-recorder cam with nero ($49 16x10x40x liteon after $20 rebate at office max this week)

1) recording songs using nero-- do i have to record all 20 or so songs in one session? or can i record 5 songs one day, 3 songs another, etc... until finally the disk is full? this confused me cause after recording three songs, the disk ejected.

2) is there a process to perform at the end of recording in order for the disk to be played on a car or stereo system? with roxio, you "finalize" the disk. not sure what is done with nero.

3) can't think of a third question...but may later.

thanks so much

1)no, u can use "multisession" which basically means u do not click "finalize"
2)nero also uses/supports "finalizing" and im pretty sure you have to do that to play the disc in a non-comp drive
3)good luck!

I've never been able to make multisession work with audio CDs. All CD players (except for your PC's CD-ROM) will only read the first session.

Well-- 3 coasters so far and counting with NERO

Tried doing the multisession-- following instructions as best I could-- finalized the disk at the end....when done cd's would not play on stereo system....

I see people here raving about Nero over Roxio--- i don't understand....why?

Are you telling me I have to sit down and record an entire CD worth of songs -- all in one sitting???

heck, with roxio-- i record a few tunes-- then a few days later-- a few more-- then eventually get the CD filled-- then finalize the disk--and you're done. simple.

I cannot belive NERO doesn't have this capability. But how????

Nero supports multisession and I've done it before. But I have had a problem with certain media. Sometimes, it's the discs that you use that cause the problem. Try using a different brand of cd's. It might solve your problem. If it doesn't, stick to roxio for audio cds but use Nero for data, iso, vcd, etc... because that's where nero shines.
