And most/all victims and shooters are black, but there won't be protests.

Hmm, some increase of media coverage for gun related crimes lately. Must be some new anti-gun legislation in the works.

Funny how Americans says guns don't kill.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_firearm-related_death_rate

Nobody cares because a white cop did not shoot a black guy.
Are you trying to says that the cops are being victimized?

IMHO, anyone who can't work professionally in theirs job, should seek a different occupation, instead of

Nope

This article gets published every Monday. However since Chicago already has the strictest gun laws in the nation, there is no media hype. If they did, they would have to admit that these idiotic gun laws do nothing except make it so good guys can't defend themselves.

There was. I work in Chicago and listen to the news as I commute in. They had a short clip from one guy who basically said, "...we stood up in Ferguson, we stood up in New York, and we'll stand up here until they take some action..."

That made absolutely no sense, but there were other protestors and what they said did make some sense:

http://chicago.cbslocal.com/2014/12/14/juvenile-charged-in-shooting-death-of-15-year-old-boy/

"WBBM’s Nancy Harty reports a small but passionate group of protesters stood near the intersection at 63rd and State Sunday afternoon carrying signs that said “All Lives Matter” mere feet from the spot where Bailey was killed.

The group was made up of mostly women who lost someone to gun violence. Pam Bosley still doesn’t know who killed her son, Terrell, eight years ago. She wanted to know where are all the protesters who shut down parts of the Loop over police-involved shootings recently?

“Why shut that down? Let’s shut down the South Side of Chicago where the killing is taking place,” she said. “Why are we marching downtown? Let’s march in our own community, go out here and get these people who murdered our children.” "

---

Here is the best site I have found for real stats on Chicago violence:

http://heyjackass.com/

More people have been shot this year than last year, but the mayor and police superintendent just talk about how homicides are down.

None of my guns killed anyone. And if guns are killing people, why aren't we sending the guns to jail? That should tech them a lesson.

Hackers use computers to commit crimes. We send hackers to prison and strictly regulate security when sensitive data is at risk (ie electronic health records, government records etc). We do the same with firearms (there are many places you cannot bring a gun into, and there are regulations behind who gets access and who doesn't). The argument is really over the degree of regulation.

I see an amendment that was written about owning a musket as the justification for a world that allows semi-automatic weapons with an incredible amount of ammunition.

Really? Please show me where in the Amendment it mentions muskets.

I think he is saying that our founding fathers would never have guessed that weapons would get better. They were just ignorant primitives after all.

You must be right.

They would have no way of knowing we would have high powered rifles, pistols, multi shot capable weapons or large caliber weapons.

I'm so stupid some times!
