You think you can tell just by reading the poll above? I've tried to keep it as impartial as possible. But if you think you know, take a guess...Originally posted by: Mwilding

Option 2. Bush is doing what is expected of him - no more no less
Option 3. Bush is screwing things up so badly we need to return to Clinton.
Option 4. Didn't vote...
Hmmmm.... how about Bush is doing a great job as president and I am glad I voted for him? Don't you think that is a fair option to present? Good job keeping it impartial.
So, once again...![]()
You're assuming bias when there isn't any present. Mwilding's request is at the bottom because it was the last one added. And if you think you know my position just because of the choices and order I listed them then you are a doofus as well.I agree. This is just like the "typical" media bias that we so often see in front of us masqerading as journalism. We don't have to "guess" what your position is; it's obvious.
EDIT: I see you did ad the line suggested, albeit at the end/bottom of your "poll" (and I use that term lightly).
No I'm not. It's plainly posted for all to see. As for being a "doofus as well", I'm probably old enough to be your daddy. So I find it funny as heck when a pimple-farming, nothing to do with his time--waste case calls me that. Enjoy your funny little attempt here. I'm sure you'll grow up to be a fine liberal some day. You're assuming bias when there isn't any present

Bush is the root of all evil? Bush is just doing his job?

i try not to get involved in politics since it is such a sensitive topic much like religion. one thing i hope bush does is turn the economy around. i know there is only so much a president can do but it would be nice if he would at least address the issue. that's my opinion and i am sticking to it.

OK, let me spell it out very plainly: I voted for Bush and I support him. However, there seems to be a strong anti-Bush sentiment as indicated by the frequent "Bush screwed up again" posts in OT, which prompted me to put up the poll. To say that I'm anti-Bush because I listed a negative choice first in the poll is ludicrous. If I put "Bush is doing a great job" first, then the antis would then be crying because of my obvious pro-Bush bias. Frankly, I'm amazed how many of you have made complete asses out of yourselves by the posts above. You don't know me, how old I am, how I voted, what I drive, or how many guns I have in the safe but you're quick to jump to conclusions strictly based on the choices I listed in these polls, which I've already pointed out have been taken from previous threads that I've witnessed, they're not tattooes that I wear.

Dont you know BoonR that if you question, you must be liberal? Or so it would seem. As for me, I voted for Bush, think he did well with Bin Laden, and is screwing up royally with Iraq.

I'm beginning to "feel" that messing with Iraq is a bad idea too, but I "think" that there has to be a very logical reason why Bush is pushing for this, and it's something he just can't reveal because of national security. Even if he revealed it to congress, they would have to keep it secret, so nothing would stop them from continuing to play politics about it.Originally posted by: Hayabusarider Dont you know BoonR that if you question, you must be liberal? While politicians are guilty of many things, people like Byrd are not so foolish to believe they can filibuster against military action, while knowing what they are doing conflicts with what they know. Evidence of this magnitude always comes out. Imagine trying to explain that you knew the US was in real imminent danger, but you ignored it AND put your career on the line for no reason. Remember, those against this know they will lose, and they are fighting nevertheless. I think the evidence of Congress actions supports the fact that there is insufficient grounds for an attack. In this case, I think what you hear reflects reality.

Given the faithful support of the democrats, I can't comprehend what logic they are using in their heads - I can imagine that even with the knowledge they have about Iraq, they have it in their minds we shouldn't go to war. Liberals strike me as a very utopian yet cowardly group.Originally posted by: HayabusariderWhile politicians are guilty of many things, people like Byrd are not so foolish to believe they can filibuster against military action, while knowing what they are doing conflicts with what they know. That is true, but remeber the Republicans did not do anything about it once Bush was in power, and have gone further to promote trade, because trade = money. No, I do not believe the Democrats are saints. Still, it is the circumstances we find ourselves in that make me doubt any great conspiracy of silence.
