3 best brands for "regular" HD 4890 1GB?

Hi.

Which one do you consider are the 3 best brands for a HD 4890 1GB and specially "why?".

I guess Asus is on top because of their voltage tweaker, then it would be XFX because of double lifetime warranty which is good if I plan to re sell the video card (and I will) later on. Right?

As long as you get a lifetime warranty, I wouldn't worry too much after that. They are all pretty solid if you aren't going to wait for any special coolers or something along those lines.

*ALL* current 4890s are reference design, that means that they all use the same components regardless of manufacturer- nobody has 'better build quality' (and to my knowledge all refernce cards come with the Vitec 59PR9853 multi-phase inductor which means they all have the potential to benefit from adjustable GPU voltage- just may require the software to expose it). Although a manufacturer does have control over QA in which they screen out potentially defective parts- this can vary between brands. Best to make your decision on warranty and perhaps any bonus software that may be included in the bundle.

I was surprised to see VisionTek hasn't announced or released a 4890 yet, are they typically not the first out of the gates for a new product?

Although the voltage adjustments on the asus are nice, it's not pure magic. I managed to hit 950MHz/4400MHz on stock voltage with an Asus HD4890. I'd prolly just buy the cheapest. And I don't think i'd spend more money on the Asus, because XFX has double lifetime warranty.

I feel that XFX has a big advantage over the other brands with its double lifetime warranty. If I'm looking to buy a used card, I would lean towards the one that gives me a legitimate lifetime warranty. And I'd say it's easier to sell an XFX card because of that double warranty which is something I always do (sell the old card and use that money to upgrade). I can't even remember the last time I bought a new video card without selling one.
