3.5mm to USB adapter..Where to buy?

I currently have a Plantronics headset that I use for gaming, VoIP, and music. I am really happy with the headset but switching between it and my speakers has gotten annoying. I have been looking for a 3.5mm to USB adapter online without much success. Anyone know where I can pick one up?

What? You need a USB sound device, not a simple adapter.

Yes. A simple adapter won't work even if such an adapter were available. If you have a USB headset, the only easy way is to use the software ( PerSono?? ) to switch between them. This is one of the reasons I just went out and bought an analog headset. I can just use a 3.5mm splitter and have a choice between my speakers and headset w/o software switching.

Why don't you retrofit your front panel with a jack that will automatically disconnect the speakers when you plug in the headphones. http://www.frontx.com has the cables to do it.
