i'd rather go for a better fan.... something about small enclosures and heat worries me about HD's
 
I got one of these last time the deal came around. My fan screaches for about one minute after turning it on like mentioned before. Other then that I have had no problems, wish i had of spent a little more on a better qualty unit though.

It has an external paower brick for those who have asked, and a power switch.

If anyone knows a good place to get a replacement fan for these please let it be known.
