I could fling old full height scsi drives for defense.
You could build a wall 10.5 feet long, 9.5 feet high and one foot thick assuming your window to toss scsi drives on aproaching enemies was 12" x 12" 😛

I wouldn't. It's a scam, let me know who is trying to pull one over on you and I'll take care of it for you. 😉

after you buy them, can you tell us where you got this deal? i say this only because i know you probably wont reveal your source until post-deal

Are you sure that all of them work, and are in good condition? Testing that many drives will be a pain in the ass, but would probably still be profitable if you unloaded them for $9 each plus shipping.

Figure it takes you 5 minutes to test a drive. Then you sell it for $1. Cost is $.03/drive. Profit from sale is $.93. That works out to $48.84 an hour and that's at $1 per drive. Its less if you factor in the time it takes to ship it but that wasn't part of the question😉

WTH?

Where are you going to store these babies? It is still a good deal if you can sell them for $3-$4 each.
Taking into account eBay fees and shipping.

Last I recall, a 5.25" floppy drive weighted at least a pound.

So 3,500 of them would weigh......
