This is my "Holy Grail" package from Newegg. AV35GTR/1800XP. I'm itchy. I'm also bored, so that's why I'm neffing. 😛

But seriously, do you think I'll get the package by tomorrow? There's no delivery on Monday...and I'm off from both jobs Monday. Monday = perfect day for new system construction.

Generally, once you see that the package has arrived near you (Doraville for us Atlantans usually) you can pretty much count on seeing it within 24 hours.

Hey, post some before and after benchmarks...that'd be kinda cool.

I'm not really anticipating getting it today; that would be asking a bit too much. I just want to get it by tomorrow b/c I'm off on Monday, and then I work BOTH jobs for the next 5 days straight. Translation: build it this coming Monday or the following week...sometime. Ay, there's the rub.

Yeah, for me, it's Dallas. I'm in San Antonio, and once the package is in Dallas, I always get it the next day. What is making me cuious is that my package left CA two days ago and hasn't "made any stops" along the way. With UPS, they usually make a stop every other state or so...and you can "see" the progress it makes as it nears your location.

Ah, I'm just itchy, that 's all. It took me months to jump on the DDR bandwagon (Bwuck-bwuck-cluck-cluck) Now that I've spent the $$$ I want my new toys, darnit. 😉

 
OMG! Check this out. After my last post, I just went back to the FEDEX tracker page and F5'd. Now it says:

Call 1-800-463-3339. Press 00000 as soon as you hear "Thank you for calling Fedex" to get a person right away. 🙂 Give them your tracking number and tell them you are the recipient of this package. They can tell you when you will get it.

Well, Sharkeeper, when you're right, you're right. And you are right. 😛 Monday is a holiday for me, but not for FEDEX. I was told my package would be delivered by 4:30PM. I know when the FEDEX guy comes to my property...it's usually around 2-3:00 PM. 🙁 Rats.

So, maybe I'll build it Monday night...maybe not. It depends on what time I get it...booooooooooo-hisssssssssssssss. I should've ordered a day earlier. Dumbass that I am. Oh well. Life goes on. I'll just be stuck in 100MHz FSB-land for another weekend, that's all.

I have too! This was after the package was delayed a day (guranteed overnight) and I spent half the day on the phone amongst a bunch of lies! That is why I prefer UPS. Fedex tracking stinks too!

Actually, I just checked on some goodies I ordered and they're both "out for delivery' today. New mp3 player ($30 off from BestBuy thanks to that GF4 fiasco) and a joystick (so I'll hopefully stop getting my ass kicked in MW4 while trying to remember what key is what).

I envy the new rig you're getting tho. I was trying to play MOH:AA in 32 bit last night and it was way to stuttery to play with my P3....dammit. I keep trying to ferret away some money for mobo and CPU and the wife keeps deciding we need to take a vacation.....to Europe.🙁
