What did that 3.2 set you back brudda?
Just under 4 bills.. Newegg refurb.... ;)
thats cheaper then a gig of OCZ ;)
But that OCZ MAY get you like a 0.6% performance increaase! (in real apps). But you can get a huge increase in SiSoft mem bench. That's all that matters! ;)

LOL! Where have you been Sean... In Off Topic? :D I have seen a few people bitching about Newegg refurbs lately, but I have been having good luck so far. I have purchased a couple of IC7-G's that had all accessories. (including the SATA adapters) The one I am using now has the most perfect voltage regulation that I have seen on an ABIT.. ;) The VDIMM is actually ABOVE the set 2.8V..

What are you using to measure this? MM? Thanks.

Yes... A Craftsman DMM reading from the MOSFET located above the R50 resistor.

a MM says above 2.8v ~ what does WHM say in windows?
It was surprising... I do not have WHM installed at the moment... I will install / check it later. I am going to shut down for now since I am in the midst of one helluva storm. (I am in Central Virginia) :Q I do have a Trace inverter system with a back-up battery bank / generator installed to power my home, but I still need to conserve juice....

I'm sure that thing will suck up the juice pretty quick on back up. We're all just a little jealous. I don't think you can get above 3.7 on air with this chipset, so you have a really good o/c. It sucks, makes me look bad. I never went through a bad hurricane, and I've lived in Tampa and Miami (right North of Homestead). When they just pass it creates the greatest days. Poor North Carolina!

Looks like you got a decent chip. And insanely good Value RAM hehe.
Thanks.. :) The ValueRAM is sporting Winbond chips.. ;)

Technonut-What is your AGP Voltage set to in the bios?

Btw, do the ValueRAMs still come with Winbond chips?
No unless you are real lucky. It is all sorts of now and with a good luck you might run into CH-5 which is not bad but has compatibility issues in some Pentium boards. But there are other options, You have BH-5 in HyperX 3000, Buffalo 3700, and Mushking 3500 level 2. All do pretty much the same though Mushkin offers the best customer service.

Hey Technut, that is an awesome system you have. Did you try to vold mod memory? I mean that could give you more of a boost. It looks like your Sandra scores are low, probably due to lax timmings. My 2.4@3.22 GHz does about 6100 with 1:1 Geil 4200.

ShoNuff,

The AGP voltage is set @ 1.65V....

joe2004,

No VDIMM mods done... I have it set @ 2.8V. My timings are about as good as it gets.... (1:1 / Street Racer / 2-3-2-5) Those benchmarks were run with background programs running.
