ROFL, that's classic.

Also, here is the link for the 3.2 E combo, it's going for 229.99, doesn't seem like a great deal, but whatever you think.

Even though it does say a 3.2ghz, they say it was a typo and it is a 3.0ghz (it says that lower down, and not in the cart either..still warm as a 3.0ghz) -- the 3.2ghz was listed at 209.99 yesterday btw. Anywho, it is a..

3.0ghz E boxed & ECS PT800CE-A Socket 478 Mobo for 179.99 -- if you order(ed) overnight, it will be here Monday due to weather conditions in Ohio area.

I ordered this and when it came(3.0) I called and asked for a manager to call me. I said they sent the wrong cpu and all I can get is a return and refund ? He gave me a 25$ credit so total was 155$

Although these combos are nicely priced for mobo and chip. the boards are only single channel. which realy hurts high end performance on these chips. But for a daily rig thats not seeing much heavy use they work well. Also when the deal is basicly a free mobo. you dont loose out of ya feel the mobo is carp.

BTW they are ECS mobos.

Do'nt bother. ECS motherboards are less than wonderful, and the chipset is one of the slower variety. You would be better off with the Nforce3 250 based Chaintech VNF3-250 (80$) and a Sempron 3100+ (100$). Same price, slightly higher performance and quality, and unlike the P4E, the s754 based Sempron may be around for some time. Plus, you can get these for ~180$ from better-known venders like Monarch and the 'egg; although Outpost has good prices, I had to wait nearly two months to get a telephone we ordered.
