MLB 2k12 on sale PLEASE! I guess I didn't learn my lesson when I bought 2k10 and it doesn't work with my damn Xbox controller. I don't even like watching Baseball, but for some reason enjoy playing a video game.

Look a little more closely at their promo banner.

Because it's a new release, they won't be putting it on sale. Sorry man. :p

(I'm tempted to pick up NBA 2k12 myself though...)

hmm, thinking about picking up Civ 5.

My friend has been looking for a city building game similar to simcity or settlers. I would like something where we can play Co-op and build a large city/kingdom/whatever over multiple sessions.

Would Civ5 fit this bill or should I look elsewhere?

No, there are better games for 'city building' IMO. Civ 5 technically builds cities, but it's not really about the cities like a city builder.

There are better games for that - though you might like a Civ game as a different type of game. Not sure how co-op is.

I have zero civ 5 DLC. What's a good one or 2 to get? I don't care about skins packs, if that's what any of them amount to.

I waited and it paid off for civ 5 dlc, just got them all (comes to $10.55). Don't think any are 'skins'. It's new civs and new maps mostly, with some things like wonders.

Also there are 'scenarios'.

Note also Civ 3 complete is only $2.49, good deal if you want that version.

Remember there is an expansion for Civ 5 coming out soon. I think it's possible this expansion may include all the DLC's. Something to think about.

Well I grabbed Civ III. Graphics don't look bad and that's probably more efficient than $2.49 of Civ V DLC.
