I have better luck with clocking inside my cae.... I have sooo many fans and my ambient temp is 18c it really helps to have a lot of good flow.

I do have a windowed side panel with blow holes cut accordingly, but I'm in and out of the case so much, it rarely on.

I'm not sure how much life has been taken out of, either. But with vcore 1.45V, I'm assuming at least 10 years? Who knows.. anyway Thanks!

I have the same stepping as you from monarch, but the third line on mine is AL504 instead of AL505. Hopefully i can get some good overclock with my opteron 165
