2 days ago when i installed my bfg 6800 gt. I reached 9,000+ in 3dmark03(the rest of my system is crap, and bottlenecks the card) anyways. I ran I test again today all the same setting, maybe like 4x AF instead of 0 but it gives me a 3,000 pt decrease. Maybe I read the 9,000 wrong? What I think might've happened(And I dont know a whole lot) is when I was experiencing artifacts on the screen earlier, maybe it was able to fry some of the cards memory? should I give bfg a call? Also, since the rest of my system: xp2100,agp4x mobo,768 mb ram, aint to hot, i was wondering if there is a program like 3dmark that will tax only the video card, so I can see if my video card has lost performance?

Um ... 3dmark maybe? 😛

Shocker - you increased visual detail through possibly AA/AF and you're surprised when the score drops? Turn all the settings back to normal including in your driver controls and retest. If you're artifacting at stock clocks there's a problem.

No i turned off all aa/af on my card, but when I open 3dmark it says max antisrophy:4. Besides, could 4x AF really take 3,000 pts? Hm. Just rememberd that I updated to newer drivers, maybe thats it?

Dont care about your 3dmark score. If the games you play run fine, then your system is fine. 3dmark is a pos imo, I would only use it to test the stability of an oc, and other then that, i wouldnt use it at all. Try a game out, and if it works fine, then you will be fine.
