2x256mb Vs 2x512mb Overclocking

Mine:
mobo = Albatron PX845PEV Pro 845PE chipset
ram = (2) Corsair XMS3200C2 512 M
Speed = DDR425 2.5,3,3,7 2.8 Vdimm

I can get away with less Vdimm (2.6 - 2.7) with a single stick. Generally, in a SC DDR board, one memory stick will overclock better. Lower density chips also seem to do better.

Me neither, I kinda liked Win98SE b/c of its low overhead, but the problem was newer devices/periphs, games, hardware etc. forced my move to 2K and now XP simply b/c the drivers didn't support 98SE, were buggy, or weren't updated as frequently.

I do like the much improved GUI and tools that 2K and XP provide though. Skins/themes/utilities can be used to replace them, but at that point it just gets too kludgy to bother with.

Win98SE was the bomb before I switched over to WIn2k. The reason why I moved over is the memory management. Somehow, WIn2k manages memory better than win98SE.

To help answer your question, Elcs, here is what I have:

NF7-S 1.1 bios 16
(2) 256mb pc2700 Samsung *DTM-CB3, 2.6 vdimm(MBM), 7-3-3-2.5 , running at 201FSB.

I set it at 200FSB in the bios, but CPUID gives me 201FSB.
