EDIT: The $20 coupon expires June 15th, but the current price is close to the lowest it's ever been on Amazon, and it's been a lot higher lately, so get it while it's hot.

Kind of like ink cartridges for printers, they sell you the tool (or printer) cheaply but make it up on the peripherals.

That said, I've been watching these and this is a good price for these 4 amp hour batteries.

Actually, even the tools are pretty expensive. This is the "current"/"newest"/"best"/whatever-you-want-to-call-it DeWalt line, and you pointed out, these are the best price available (and best I've ever seen), so it's a hot deal. Especially at Father's Day if you happen to know someone in the market. I'm happy to own another two at this price.
