2pack - 120mm Powmax Typhoon case fans FREE(AR)

You can get free shipping on the 80mm fans if you go for the rebate deal with the 120s. So for both, if you get the rebate, you will wind up paying just for the 80s with free shipping.

Initially, I was a little leary of this rebate because I've been waiting 2 months on another eaglebit rebate (card reader) with no reply and no way of tracking the rebate other than sending customer service an email (yeah right), but... I just noticed that eaglebit has, within the last couple weeks, rolled out online rebate tracking, so I was able to confirm that my previous rebate had been approved and was in the process of being sent.

If they hadn't rolled out the online rebate page, I would have heartily declined this offer AND told everyone else to be skeptical as well.

With the new system in place... I'm game. I have no idea if these are good fans, but hey, the decibels aren't that high and the price is right.

I've been filling out so many rebates lately I obtained a copy of acrobat so I can just copy and paste all my contact info into the rebate pdf. Now, within 5 minutes of making the purchase, I have a filled out, printed, unmistakingly legible form, printed envelope and I've entered the purchase into my rebate tracking spreadsheet. Sweet.

Not sure if its even worth the risk/time. Looks like they sell for $3 normally.

2 fans came out to $13.21 for me including shipping. I can definitely justify spend about 15 total minutes on a rebate for 13 bucks.

As far as the 'risk' is concerned... of the 8 reviews on resellers, there is only one that involves a rebate that wasn't honored, and that involved a dispute over the proper documentation. The second review, where it looks like the customer failed to receive their rebate check is, surprisingly, a positive review. At the very bottom, it finally said "my rebate went through." It took a while, but they got it.

If this place was scamming people on rebates, I have no doubt that they'd have plenty of reviews on resellers stating that fact. They don't.
