There are only a couple of songs that he did vocals in for Digital Underground.

Precisely my point. The only solo 2pac song that I really liked was I Get Around. California Love was iight, but Phish did it better. The only thing I really liked about that track was Dre's deciding to give up the entirely too played out P-funk samples and hit up some Zapp & Roger.

However, Digital Underground is the shiz with corn.
And yes, they are The Humpty Dance people.

"I once got busy in a Burger King drive thru" - Slug from the song Lyle Lovette.

My favorite Tupac performance of all was in Poetic Justice though. I thought he played that part really well.

"Maybe if YOU weren't alive I wouldn't have to listen to you"

You are right!

Explain to me what his message was?

And how/why did he get shot?

I heard yesterday that an album of Tupac's poetry (not rap, people ... seriously) will be released in the near future. Folks like Maya Angelou and Quincy Jones participate in the readings.

In other words they have no more outtakes from poorly recorded demos to put on record to make money off the dead guy. Now they are poaching his lyrics notebook.

I can?t wait to hear the Notorious BIG?s poetry album.
