2nd Video Card causing boot up issues!?!?

Hey all,

I recently installed a second video card (4850) linked in crossfire (4870). Everything seems to be running fine except for one thing.

When I boot up, my monitor doesn't pop on until windows boots up, so I miss my bios screen. This did not happen before the second video card. So whats up?

Ive tried uncrossfireing, and disabling the second card (my monitor is connected to the Primary video card obviously). That does not work.

I now have the second card physically uninstalled, and everything boots up normally.

Would like to get that second card back in.... Any Ideas?

You will need two monitors hooked up at the same time to see the BIOS bootup. Sometimes this can be resolved by a BIOS update for the board if the vendor makes the need change. At least that is the way it ended up working for my dual monitor system. Had to do a BIOS update to see the boot screen.

I have two moniters hooked up currently, both to the primary card.

So I need a bios update to accomadate CF?
