2nd time test .. how did lock thread ?

The moderator locked the thread because they don't like test posts in here. I'm not sure they like them anywhere, but a better thing to do would be to simply make a real post, rather than just one to test.

Everyone at some point in their life has posted some sort of test post, whether it was newsgroups or discussion forums on the web or email. It's normal if you've never done anything like signing up for something like this to want to verify that it works and that you did it right.

Just for the record, it would have been nice if the mod that locked that other thread had posted some sort of reason for having done it. A newbie who's never used a forum before isn't going to know that he shouldn't be making test posts in this forum, and even someone who has posted to other forums may not know which forum is the correct one to do it (if any).

Same goes for this thread. People can't learn if you don't tell them what they did wrong.
