4 weeks? No wonder I've never gotten into brewing my own beer. I'd get thirsty.

Well, I pitched the yeast last night and it was bubbling away this morning. :D:D

Are you planning to dry-hop this batch? Really adds a lot of hop "nose" if you've never tried it.

In related news: I tried a rauchbier last night with my fish and chips at a local watering hole. Actually pretty damn good with the food. Everyone else at the table thought it tasted like crap tho.....more for me, I suppose. :p

I am considering dry-hopping it... though I haven't quite decided.

I had a nice Belgium Triple Saturday that was awesome. I don't usually like really sweet beer, and this wasn't too sweet, BUT it had a great hoppy nose in the foam. :D

*sigh* Can't get Triples and such down here thanks to our idiotic laws regarding the alcohol content of beer. Everything over 6% is out. :(
