Hmm.. located in Walnut right down the street from MWAVE, I wonder if Fortune has a willcall department like their neighbor.

iirc they do

1st thread had free shipping/10% off

I got mine, it came with tea, but not 100 bags, just two little tins about 1.5x1.5x2.5 inches.

This stuff is HOT, literally!

That's a great price for jerky, but I might be the only one who didn't like the flavor. I ordered one of each of their flavors, including a pound of the cubes. This is probably the only jerky I've not finished. I thought it smelled like dog food, which didn't get my mouth watering.

I thought they tasted like Snossages... MMMMMM! Seriously, I loved the spicy cubes, they're like freakin' pringles, you can't have just one... I got a box of 1000 teabaggies, bonus!

[drool] MMMMmmmm... puppy chow!! [/drool]

I priced out this deal last week while I was in Taiwan. With the NT$ to US$ conversion rate, this jerky prices out about the same as my favorite jerky over there... of course, I pay tax on this side of the ocean... but then there's the matter of a plane ticket to get over there... and I've never tried this jerky.

It's a good price with the 25% coupon.

RRRRrrruuufff!!

I ordered some of the regular and the cubes. Came out to right around $30 shipped. $15 a pound for jerky is a great price. However, if you don't enjoy this jerky, go over to jerkyusa.com and give them a try. Prices are around $18/lb, and orders of 3lbs or more have free shipping. Very large orders (6+lbs) receive packages of free jerky. This jerky tastes a lot like the jerky I used to make. Let me put it this way, the jerky I made was the best, and the jerky from jerkyusa is the only thing I've found that compares in quality.

Jerky is expensive because it can take up to 3 pounds of meat to make a pound of jerky.

In case anyone thinks $15/lb isn't a decent price, consider $5/4 oz. ($20/lb) is about the cheapest I've seen at the local stores. I'd say $24/lb is about average. I'm not sure if jerky for dogs is $15/lb.

PS I'll pass on the free teabag, thanks.

$15/lb is not that cheap. Costco has Pacific Gold Beef Jerky in different flavors for $10/lb. You get two 8 oz bags for $10. Much better deal in my opinion and you get a variety of flavors if you so desire.

Another thing, Chinese beef jerky is different than American beef jerky. The texture is completely different, go to an Asian supermarket and look at the texture and try it out before ordering 2 lbs. I like both types but just a heads up.

for southern california people, you can get the same jerkies on this website at the San Gabriel Superstore. It's one of the smaller stores within the huge complex. The prices are the same and you don't have to pay for shipping and you don't have to WAIT. Damn this stuff is good.

It's not as good as Tillamook. But it is cheap, I'll give it that.

I had an asian friend names Mow and she made the besta beef yerky you ever had, I recall fondly the smell of cat, and dishwater. The texture was similar to Mows, well you know....

:Q😕

Tillamook lists MSG in the ingredients on several products, jerkyusa claims "No MSG". Might make a diff to those of you sensitive to the stuff.
