Linky
got this in the mail from fortune jerky: 100 bags of tea (one box) for those who order more than 2lbs of jerky.
their beef jerky cube prices just dropped to $14.99/lb, making it $30 for 2lbs, using code posted on the page -25% = $22.5 + shipping.

in my opinion, the cubes are the most delicious in all their jerky products.

been awhile since you've read the sticky for Hot Deals...
What about COUPONS and PROMOTIONAL CODES?

You may post:
Links to coupons on the issuing vendor's own site.

The tea part was discussed in another post, couldn't find it at the moment. But it's automatically given for 2lbs+ orders if I remember correctly.

"The jewel on the crown of our beef jerky varieties. Jerky cubes take much longer time to make. And because of their small size, they obsorb more flavoring than flat jerky. These are perfect for the elderly, for their size also makes them much easier to chew on.

:Q

All of our authentic Chinese recipe beef jerky are made under both the supervision of our own quality control personel and the strict inspection of the United States Department of Agriculture. The end products are made sure to be fresh, yet still retaining the original taste that our customers have enjoyed since 1992."

Never in my life did I think I would see 'Chinese' and 'beef jerky' in the same sentence. :D

I gotta try it now, mainly because of my curiosity!

i got the 60 tea bag with my order of 2lb this time, but it's a better quality tea i would suppose since the list price is higher than the 100 tea bag pack

I got several of each a few months back and brought them all to work.
The hot cubes were the most popular by far. (the plain cubes didn't do much for me, they taste kinda like a 5-spice thing but no heat to it). The hot ones are nice and zippy with a pleasant aftertaste. It takes 2-4 pieces to aquire the taste for it though, don't give up after one piece if you don't like it. It's probably just that you're not used the particular seasonings/flavor.
(They sent me a free small pkg of the super-hot flat jerky -covered in red pepper powder and seeds! It's a hot one.)

So, in my opinion the hot cubes are the ticket here. :)
cheers,
Gabe

$15/lb for jerky isn't bad, which makes $22.50 for 2lbs a steal. if you go to a supermarket, their 4 oz. bags are $5.99. Even worse, those 1 oz. bags in the gas stations are like $2. mm.. beef jerky is good.

The question would now be - How much MSG does 2lbs of asian beef jerky contain?

Hmm.. located in Walnut right down the street from MWAVE, I wonder if Fortune has a willcall department like their neighbor.
