Howdy. :D

I have a w2k upgrade version cd, and I also have an old win95 cd w/serial #. My question is, when I build my new system with no O/S, will I have to go through installing 95, or will I merely have to put the 2k disc in, then briefly put in the 95 disc and serial # for verification? Or should I go find a 2K full edition CD?

You will be prompted to insert Win 95 disk for verification for a few seconds.

Upgrade version is fine.

This works, sometimes. ;) I was doing an install at my wife's workplace, and had to use 3 different W95 CDs until I found one that the W2K install would "read" to find the old version. All 3 CDs had been previously used to install W95, and they could still be read by the other computers in the office, just W2K couldn't tell they were valid disks. Don't want to scare you, just a heads up.
