what are you using it for? for gaming, the ocz would be best. for graphics editing, and lots of other things that really need lots of ram, lots of ram will be good. games dont need 2gb.

i had bad luck with kingston value.. 4 stick of 512 and 2 stick of 1gb.. bought from different vendor, outpost, newegg, etc... 1/2 of each set had some error and need to be rmaed... if you do get value.. run memtest and make sure its not a dud..

I'd go with the 2GB. Low latencies don't really need make much of a difference. Future games will be able to utilize the 2GB.

Depend on the CPU as well.

Well since you said you would be doing video editing may as well go for 2GB. Just don't buy from cheap brands.

Also you can even get 2GB OCZ Value VX (4*512) for the same price. Same RAM as Gold VX but untested. Good for a try anyway. The latencies would likely to be quicker than value ram. I don't know whether you are using s939 though; populating all 4 ram slots might lower the command timing of RAM
