2Gb Flash drive Even Better $4.95 after Rebates and Google Checkout

It appears there are 2 rebates. One for $20 and one for $5. They both require the original UPC label.
I emailed the rebate center to see if they will accept a copy for one of them.
I'll post when I get a reply.
Even if you only get the $20 one, it's still a good price for a 2Gig drive.
 
Good deal for sure, except there are 2 rebates involved ($20 & $5) but both require the original UPC label. Looks like they both go to the same address so do you think that sending both rebates with 1 UPC label in the same envelope would work?

No Problem. Just got a nice email back:

"There is no need to copy the upc or receipt, just go ahead and send them in the same envelope and it will be taken care of. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. Janna."

Sounds like a winner!

NOTE!!!! The $5 rebate is only good if purchased today 11/28
 
Do you (the two posters above) ever read the terms and conditions before posting?

$20.05 rebate condition #4: "You must include the original UPC label or the Rebate will be ineligible."

Mine was picked up by FedEx on the morning of Dec 1st. FedEx left it in PA for a day, and it departed on Dec 2nd. Scheduled delivery Dec 6.

Did you happen to order it quite late?
 
Got mine a few days ago.

its really sub-par quality. Cheap plastic, doesn't fit into USB drive smoothly. Its kind of a tight fit, and you really need to nudge in the last 1/2 centimeter for it to read. But it works as advertised - hard to beat for $6 after rebate. mine doesn't have any printed text on the drive, just a small clear sticker that says "2 GB"

I really hope the rebates come through or else I wouldn't say it was worth $29.99

just scroll down to the middle to find the rebate form, or type ctrl+f search for rebate keyword.

About this kingston one, i found two on amazon.
the one selling on buy.com is this one

The Buy.com deal for the $11.95 is definitely a hot deal. In fact, I'm contemplating picking that up. I have the 1 GB version, and although its VERY VERY SLOW, its a solid USB drive from a good brand.

As far as those two, on Amazon, I don't really see a difference. I know kingston makes DataTraveler 1 and DataTraveler 2, with DT2 having significantly better performance. Maybe the more expensive one is a DT2 and they just reused the picture? Thats my guess.
