It helped her shape her character and turned her into an unique strong individual she is today?

It may seem cruel in our eyes, but a genuine conviction can only come from first-hand experience.

Who else but a deaf person know the true pain of another deaf?

That's the most ridiculous thing I've every heard in my entire life.

Good vid. But I'm sorry, I have to hijack this thread and post the following link. It is the first video that youtube identified as "related" to the video the OP posted.

as for the hearing, i wonder what resolution she is at now. i remember one guy with a hearing implant explaining how they kept improving the software that runs his implant increasing the resolution, but its still not quite what we hear. he didn't start off deaf so he knows the difference.

Why? How?

As a shitty terrible example, it's like V for Vendetta when V imprisoned and tortured Evey so she could truly feel what he went through.

An omnipotent being would be able to get this result without the suffering.

What about all the good, well shaped individuals out there that have never suffered? Why did this girl need to be deaf to learn that?

Doesn't make any sense.

What about the babies that are born in poverty, suffer their whole lives, then die at the age of 2. What did this suffering do for them?

Doesn't make any sense.

That's why it's called faith. Stop trying to infect us with your secular, ungodly ideas. That is not natural by our design.

Why don't you quit trolling this thread. This is about something rather cool and interesting. I could give a fuck about your views on god nor do mine matter.

Either way +1 for technology. I can't imagine what life would be like not hearing or worse not seeing.
