29 years old and hearing myself for the 1st time!

She speaks pretty well for a deaf. Usually deaf can't talk either because they can't hear themselves therefore can't self-correct constantly.

That is so cool 🙂 I'm glad for her

EDIT: Have any of you watched the related video titled "I'VE GOT THE WEIRDEST BONER RIGHT NOW"? Do it. I swear, you will not see anything stranger today.

They can with lots of training. I was reading some of the comments and someone said they feel your vocal chords and then mimic the feeling on there own throats.

Speech therapy can help that quite a bit. My cousin was born deaf but you'd never know it from hearing him talk. He had to do a lot of training as a child/teen, but it worked really well.

She commented on the video, she was born with "Profound" deafness but has had hearing aids etc throughout her life, so that with lip reading and learning how to speak has helped her learn how to talk. This was the first time she was able to hear clearly instead of the little improvement from whatever hearing aid she was using.

Didn't god make her deaf in the first place?

It helped her shape her character and turned her into an unique strong individual she is today?

It may seem cruel in our eyes, but a genuine conviction can only come from first-hand experience.

Who else but a deaf person know the true pain of another deaf?

This video was touching, but "29 years old and touching myself for the 1st time!" would've been even better

Awesome,
i think these's another one with a little kid receiving a hearing aid/implant of sorts and you can see her face just light up
