You're not the only one! 🙁
Hey, Robert!

Brave soul entering this forum. 😉

Let's hope you and gUEv are wrong and we see a Kerry win on Nov. 2!

Bush, unless he starts smoking crack & steals the presidntial limo & plows into a crowd of senior citizens waiting for a Luby's to open...

Although his performance @ the debate might be a sign to put down the pipe:Q

Why would that change Bush supporters minds?

Democrates winning the Senate would be sweet as hell, but I'm not holding my breath (I don't count the loss of Zell Miller's seat, though, as he's been a republican in all but name for years).

Truthfully, I'm pretty indifferent to the presidency. Even if Bush wins, IMO, it would be better than a Kerry win in the long run (for the liberals).

If Bush wins reelection and things continue the same way that they are presently, the '08 election will be a slam dunk (unless McCain runs) and the liberals should be able to retake congress in '06.

As someone who works programming questionnaires and handling projects at a marketing research firm with a massive pile of political clients, ... I could give a rat's ass who wins, just get the DAMN thing over with already!!!

Good grief, I can't wait for Nov 2nd. Everyone and their grandmother is running for every office in every county and city.

I was working about 65 hours a week during September. This month is going to be worse.

🙁

If Bush wins, the only hope is that the dems win control of the house or senate. that would keep Bush in-check from starting frivalous wars over the next four years. I honestly cannot say who will win. My entire family is Republican, most from Ohio, and they sure aren't voting for Bush

The winner will be who gets their base out the most. This isnt going to come down to undecided, its going to, for the first time come down to who can get all of their sheep out to vote.

The repubs will gain seats in the House, but they will lose three in the Senate meaning a 51-1-48 Democrat controlled Senate(my numbers may be off).

I predict Kerry will win. I don't think the polls that show Bush by a few percent will reflect a high turn out and younger first time voters who will vote for Kerry overwhelmingly. Kerry by 3% in the popular vote.

maybe they could get around to impeaching him? Its not like he hasn't earned it. He's a traitor if I've ever seen one.

On what grounds? 😕
You are a complete fool if you think Bush can be charged for treason.

Yeah dummy Kerry isn't elected yet, but after that he's barbq!

I predict Bush will win the popular vote but lose the electoral vote and we'll have 10 recounts...

Bush will win. Bout time to pop osama out of storage a week before elections.🙂

All I hope is he does'nt raise taxes to pay for his nefarious plans and buddys swindling from the treasury like his father did.

Don't worry, some other president will(Have to).

I think if turnout is high, Kerry will win, but barely. If turnout is normal or low, Bush will win. Either way, it's going to be close.

One thing the Bush Presidency has done for me? Made it so I will vote strictly for NO Republicans EVER again, regardless of qualifications. I have voted for both Snowe and Collins here in Maine (both Repubs) but never again.

I agree that getting up the base is vital to either side winning the election. I believe that the Democrats are just as motivated to vote as Republicans. If Democrats turn out to vote relative to their numbers, Kerry will win most of the swing states; Ohio, Florida Penn, Wisconsin and Iowa being the most important. I truly believe that Kerry will win the remaining two debates and will go on to win the Presidency by 2-4%. Right now, the independents and undecided are more pessimistic about the economy and GWB's handling of Iraq than the general public. This will be good news for Kerry if he can continue to point out the failures of this administration and what he would do better as President. Getting out the base is very important but so is winning the independents and undecideds. The race will be close but I truly believe that Kerry will win both the popular and the electoral vote.

The Senate should remain in Republican hands as will the House barring some tidal wave which ain't happening. Georgia and Illinois will flip but the other races are still close. I think they will lose SC as well unless the Dem. candidate hammer the Republican candidate harder for his free trade policy. So, for the Democrats to gain a majority they would need to sweep the board (losing Georgia and SC) and win every close Senate seat which I don't see happening.

If he said god told him to do it, he'd still pull 25% of the popular vote😉

IEM contract prices say a Bush win by 52% or more is half again more likely than even a Kerry plurality. Chart has been trending Kerry a bit lately but it's still a huge gap to make up.
Heh, I hear ya. The GWBUSH2004 contracts on Tradesports increased by 0.7 during the first hour of the Cheney/Edwards debate. Earlier today, shortly after reports of the Knoxville shooting began filtering in, the contract price increased 1.0.

However, my gut feeling, which goes against conventional, rational analysis, still says Kerry in an upset.
