Ok I thought it was really well done. There was suspense from start to finish. I was not comfortable in my chair at all. There were some slow parts but I think that makes the movie better because they used it to build the characters. The plot was somewhat predictable but no boring. There was some very intense bursts of action, and some great shots of London. I don't know how they managed to make the city deserted all the time from the aerial shots unless they used computers. I didn't like the ending for various reasons (no spoilers). But the quality was good and worth the ticket.

People here in the thread said it would suck too. Sorry but you can't say that till you see the movie.

wait for dvd, have a feeling it'll be overrated as the first film.😛

is it awful dv this time too? seeing that low resolution in the theater really sucked.

:thumbsup:

Yep people should not judge a movie till they seen it.

Going to see it tonight. It is the sequel I have been most anticipating all year. I am sorry nay-sayers, but if it is even only half as good as the original, it will be a success. I love zombie/survivor movies.

:thumbsup: let us know how you liked it and no spoilers please! Thanks.

not a bad movie, not as good as the first one. the helicopter sequence was funny, but not enough scary bits for me

I posted this in the other thread ...

Wow I just got back from this movie. It was freaking AWESOME. I really REALLY enjoyed it. It had a lot of in your face scenes and was a very intense movie that kept me somewhat pushing myself back into my seat cause it's so in your face.

I did have a few minor complaints though ...

*** SPOILERS UNTIL END OF MY POST ***

1. I thought it was kind of dumb that the dad was kind of stalking his kids the whole time. It took away from the whole feeling that the infected just killed to feed and just let out their rage.
2. I thought it was also kind of out of place when the father pushed the moms eye balls in. That is far from what they had shown in the past of the infected just ripping people apart to feast on them.
3. When they are walking down into the subway, and the kids fell down the stairs, how all of a sudden they were so far apart that they couldn't even hear eachother screaming at the top of their lungs. It just kind of ruined that moment.
4. Previews didn't show any new horror movies!!!

However I really REALLY enjoyed it! The movie pissed me off because of how the people were killing EVERYONE even after it was clearly obvious who was infected and who wasnt. Also I had completely forgotten that the mom was "immune" in a sense when the boy got bitten and I thought he was going to turn around and kill his sister, but when they showed his eye it all clicked.

The movie really conveyed a lot of emotion as well even though there were only a few characters you really cared about.

Great movie, if you liked the first one, you will like this definitely.

Awesome movie! Better than the first! I love the ending because you get to see the next area that gets it!v

Best Zombie movie ever. Even better than Night of the Living Dead old version and color version!

It has nothing to do with 28 Days Later, just a cheap run on the brand for money.

It's a 'sequel' to 28 Days Later, so i don't know what the hell you're talking about.

Anyways, it was a decent movie. Not nearly as good as the first one, and actually made me dizzy from all the jumping cameras in the dark.

Well ACTUALLY Spiderman 2 sucked balls, I was watching it with a bunch of friends and everyone though it was a cheezy load of cr@p. IF you said Godfather 2 then maybe you would make more sense.

LOTR.

LOTR agreed!

How can you say its not nearly as good as the first one? It was 100 times better than the first one

I didn't like it as much as the first one because the second one seemed like it was entirely all shock horror rather than fear.

=======================================================

************************SPOILER ALERT*********************************

========================================================

Things i had trouble with:

1. When they were shooting into the crowd why didn't they ask the noninfected to just raise their hands over a speakerphone?

2. Why would they ever crowd the noninfected together in a quarantine situation? That seems like the opposite of containment.

3.Why would the military give the dad so much power in terms of security, hard to believe he could just walk up to high security areas? Also, you'd think that the badges would prevent people from going out as well as going in.

I kinda feel like my reply turned this thread into the rage virus because if anyone responses to my reply they infect anyone who hasn't seen the movie with the spoilers.

Not really.

I kinda had the same problems. I think the first was a much better film, but 28 weeks is the better "horror" film.
