The trailers looks like they made it too polished. I loved 28 Days Later because it was raw and gritty, that added to the atmosphere a lot... We'll see though. I'll probably still check it out when it hits DVD. Also, looks a lot like Hills Have Eyes (the new crappy movie), but in a city.

I want to see this movie soo bad. But I rarely ever go to the omvie theater anymore, so I'll probably wait until it comes out on DVD.

I'm looking forward to it.

BTW, there was something strange about the way they filmed the first one. It's like it was missing frames of animation or something. Does anyone know exactly what they did and/or what the technique that I am referrring to is called?

The camera work was one of the features in the original that the film makers talked up quite a bit. I want to say it was digital handhelds.

The film was shot entirely with DV Cameras.

Me too! I will avoid previews/reviews though so I have no preconceptions prior to seeing it.

Yeah it was shot with DV - it is what gives it that gritty "documentary" effect. It was also notable because they didn't really use CGI or special effects. The infected people or "zombies" or whatever simply wore red contacts and were good actors who could move in weird ways.
