Why should I lower my standards for todays' women that act like they shouldn't be expected to do anything other than be supported by a metrosexual husband while having a career.

well, obviously i cook totally awesome i usually aim to make what my husband likes best rather than what i like.

i work 45+ hours a week (and occasionally, even sundays). like i said, the roles have changed since 1980. my mother used to raise me, but then she had to enter the workforce in order to help my father support the family.

i actually don't force my husband to do anything. he volunteers to help as he knows i'm doing housework and working full-time. we do eventually want to have kids, and to save up for their educations and the like requires full-time work now, not later.

I agree with this. Why don't you, for a week, try to keep the house neat, take care of the kids, cook dinner, and all the other chores while she sits on the couch and rubs one out to an oprah show.
