Don't know about Diamondtron flat, but it is flat like any other flat tv. One thing I think why it is cheaper than other models is because it only has one s-video input and 2 composite video input (back & front). That means if you want to plug in the dvd/vcr/game console directly to your tv, then you don't have enough inputs. No video out, so if you want record anything, then forget it. (Actually you can if you feed your video sources through the vcr/dvd-r first.) It doesn't have much functions or options, very basic. I got one for the bedroom set because I don't need that much functionalities or options.

Circuitcity.com has a 27" APEX TV for $200. Looks great, but only has mono sound (doesnt matter if you have surround sound). 3-rca A/V inputs, 1-rca output, one s-video input.

Stopped by the woodland hills Fry's and they do still have the Samsung for $349. They also run the Sylvania 27" flat for $299 every now and then.....

Hermann the German,

Where do you see that Circuitcity.com is selling a 27" Apex TV for only $200?

The only 27" Apex I see is $220.

I hope to hear from you.

Thanks.

Model # AT2702

it's on the main page, but you can also do a search for that model #. $199.99, not including tax etc. You can pick up at CircuitCity too, without paying shipping.
