266 or 333 FSB Board

I am in need of a MOB upgrade. I currently have an Epox 8K7A, with (2) 256 MB sticks of PC2100 Crucial, and an Athlon XP 2200+. My processor only runs @ 266, but would I be better off getting a 333 MOB? I've been looking at Epox's EP-8K9A2 & EP-8RDA. I'm not even sure which chipset is better.
Also, will I be better off just chucking my old RAM and buying 2700?

A motherboard can run more than ond FSB setting.

My Abit Nf7-S can go from 200-400 and higher.

Why do you want to upgrade?

I'm having some USB problems that I believe are due to the MOB, but can't be 100% sure. I think it would be easier to just buy a new MOB, (the prices are fairly low) and see if that is the problem. I'd like to buy a good MOB, but I'm not sure which chipset I should get.
