Yeah I bought a 2900XT a week after they came out...

But I wouldn't mind one of these for one of my other PC's..

two silent 2600s in xfire would be awesome. but i would prefer something with the go of a 1950 pro though, since i've used vista and don't intend to use it again any time soon.

A week too late. I already picked up a Geforce 8500GT for my HTPC. Works really well also.

Actually it would be a total waste of time. Why not buy a single X1950 instead?

Can't find a comparison of the X1950 and the 2600XT at the moment.. but the HDDVD/Bluray playback and lower power consumption are two things that come to mind..

What a piece of crap....the 1650XT beats it in some benches. WTF?

lol, that's why I have an X1650 XT instead. The benches for BF2 were worse on the HD2600 XT. I ran BF2 with high quality (even if it was at 1024x768) with 4x AA and still had over 60 fps online (sometimes 100 fps). Hehe.

It's not like these popped up out of nowhere and surprised everyone. I'm sure you knew they were coming.
